AP: Jim Kelly among prospective Buffalo Bills buyers
Within the past couple weeks, Jeremy Jacobs, Donald Trump, and Bon Jovi have all been linked as potential owners of the Buffalo Bills. It's time to throw one more name into the hat: former Bills Hall of Fame Quarterback Jim Kelly.
The Associated Press reported Saturday evening that Kelly is prepared to make a bid to buy the team.
"Jim will be an active participant in it moving forward," Jim's brother Dan Kelly told the AP. Kelly will begin fielding offers to join prospective ownership groups while he continues his cancer treatments at Erie County Medical Center.
The four names mentioned aren't the only potential buyers. Erie County deputy executive Richard Tobe said he has been approached by as many as 10 prospective ownership groups.
