With the struggles of Buffalo Bills rookie left tackle Chris Hairston apparent during the team's game in San Diego, former starter Demetrius Bell capitalized on a chance at playing time and was thought to perform well.
The job he did on Sunday has apparently given him the leg up at the start of practice this week. Bell, not Hairston, was taking reps with the first team at left tackle during the media portion of Wednesday's practice.
Bell hasn't started a game since being injured in Cincinnati during the fourth week of the season. It remains to be seen if it will indeed be Bell that starts against the Miami Dolphins.
