Bills' Chandler Limited, No Stevie Tuesday
The Buffalo Bills practiced for the first time of the week on Tuesday and were without their top wide receiver.
Stevie Johnson, who was pulled out of the game against Miami in the second half with a groin injury, did not partake in the first session of the week. Head coach Chan Gailey said Johnson wanted to practice, but they elected to sit him as a precautionary reason. It didn't sound as though the wideout would be in jeopardy of missing the game.
Tight end Scott Chandler practiced for the first time since the injury he suffered against Tennessee. The term 'practiced' is used very lightly. Chandler was extremely limited, not taking any reps during positional drills that were open to the media. He's attempting to recover from an ankle injury. If he can't play, Mike Caussin will start at tight end against Denver.
Nose tackle Marcell Dareus practiced Tuesday but was limited with a big wrap on his left hand. Meanwhile third-string running back Johnny White did not particpate in the session.
The Bills take on the Denver Broncos Saturday at Ralph Wilson Stadium.
