Bills' Gailey Expects Stevie to Play
When the Buffalo Bills take on the Denver Broncos on Saturday, they expect to have their top receiving target in trying to spark the offense.
After sitting out on Tuesday, wide receiver Stevie Johnson participated in practice on a limited basis both Wednesday and Thursday. Head coach Chan Gailey expects that Johnson, who has 68 catches for 872 yards and six touchdowns, will be fine to play against Denver on Christmas Eve.
The prognosis on tight end Scott Chandler remained the same as well from the head coach. Gailey said Chandler remains a "decent chance" to play against the Broncos. After being limited on Wednesday, wide receiver Ruvell Martin sat out of Thursday's practice. Johnny White, the team's third-string running back, missed his third straight practice as well.
Teams will release their official injury reports on Friday. The Bills and Broncos square off at Ralph Wilson Stadium Saturday at 1 pm.
