Bills' Kolb excused from scrimmage

Pittsford, NY (WGR 550)  -- Those looking to the scrimmage to see the battle for the starting quarterback front and center will be disappointed by the news of the day. Veteran quarterback Kevin Kolb will not be in attendance at tonight's scrimmage, due to a death in the family.

Because of that first-round pick EJ Manuel will receive all the first-team repetitions during the session, while undrafted rookie Jeff Tuel will take all the work with the second and third units.

Besides Kolb, seven other players will not take part in Monday's scrimmage. That list includes Stevie Johnson, Kyle Williams, Duke Williams, Justin Rogers, Kevin Elliott, Mike Caussin and Chris Hairston (PUP) who are all still dealing with injuries.

C.J. Spiller, Mario Williams and Scott Chandler all will be limited during the practice. Both Chandler and Williams are still recovering from injuries. However, Spiller's activity is not due to an injury.

If report of Toronto bid being maxed out at $1.2 billion is true, what would you think?
Toronto is dead. The Buffalo Bills are here to stay!!!!
I'd still be guarded. What if a bidder comes out of nowhere?
