Bills-Chiefs Result in Madden Sim
For you sports video game guys out there (like myself), you always like to see the EA Sports official simulation of how the teams will do each and every week. Whether it be for a look ahead to the weekend, or maybe you want to get a leg up on your fantasy football team. Regardless, it's a fun look each and every week.
Just like in past seasons, ESPN.com has partnered up with the guys that bring you Madden giving a game specific forecast for every week.
A lot of folks are giving the Buffalo Bills a major chance in Week One on the road against the Kansas City Chiefs. Despite being minus-6 on the betting line, some think the Bills can sneak out a win. But not according to the Bills-Chiefs official Madden simulation.
Just like in last year's actual matchup, Chiefs running back Jamaal Charles goes for over 100 yards on the ground in the sim, leading Kansas City to a 21-10 win to open the season.
The simulation has Matt Cassel throwing for 221 yards, two touchdowns and an interception, while Ryan Fitzpatrick throws for a respectable, but not spectacular 205 yards, one touchdown and two interceptions. If you're wondering, the answer is yes. Stevie Johnson was the man that got the touchdown.
Nothing permanent, but just a fun look each and every week. I'll be sure to track the Madden Simulators predicted win-loss record for not only the Bills season, but how many times it's prognostications are correct over the year.
Madden Bills record: 0-1
Actual Bills record: 0-0
