For many fans, Buffalo Bills first round pick Marcell Dareus is the reason to hold on to optimism heading in to the 2011 NFL season.
Following practice on Wednesday, a Buffalo News report surfaced that said Dareus was seen on crutches with a heavy wrap on his left leg. But to the delight of fans, the injury is not that serious.
Dareus told WGR's sister station at Entercom Kiss 98.5, that he was kicked in the calf and a bruise formed on the back of the calf. He said the Bills didn't want to take any risks with it, shut him down for the rest of practice and sent him to get treatment.

John Murphy of Channel 4 said sources indicated to him the injury isn't perceived to be too serious, but that he may miss some time.
