Add another name to the growing injured reserve list of the Buffalo Bills.
Tight end Lee Smith suffered an ankle injury against the Miami Dolphins Sunday, and will not be able to return this season. The Bills ending his season after he was carted off the field at Ralph Wilson Stadium. Smith was a fifth-round pick for New England in the 2011 NFL Draft, but was eventually let go. Then claimed by the Bills, he had four catches for 11 yards in his rookie season.
Replacing Smith's spot will be recently signed practice squad member Kevin Brock. Brock, a tight end, has not spent any time on a 53-man roster during the regular season. He wears number-87.
