Bills WR Johnson Sits; Will Play Sunday
The Buffalo Bills spent Thursday's practice without their go-to receiver on the field. Wideout Stevie Johnson did not take part in the session.
Head coach Chan Gailey revealed after the session that Johnson has been dealing with a nagging groin injury over the course of the past month, so they gave their top wideout a rest day. Gailey added Johnson will be ready to play on Sunday against the Oakland Raiders.
Elsewhere, Torell Troup was limited during Thursday's session. Gailey said Arthur Moats was getting better, but they still had to limit his reps a bit.
Terrence McGee, who's nursing a hamstring, was the only other Bills player not to participate.
