Bills' Watkins "good to go," per report

The Buffalo Bills can breathe a sigh of relief... again.

Their budding rookie wide receiver Sammy Watkins suffered his second rib injury of the preseason, and had to leave the game prematurely yet again. The Bills survived a scare once more with the fourth overall pick according to NFL.com's Ian Rapoport:

Watkins suffered the injury on a slant pattern over the middle of the field. An inaccurate throw led the wideout a bit too far and Detroit linebacker Ashlee Palmer ran over and landed a forearm right into the rookie's bruised ribs.

Surrounded by six members of the medical and training staff, Watkins slowly walked off the field and into the locker room at Ralph Wilson Stadium on Thursday. There haven't been any indications on his status for the team's regular season opener in Chicago as of yet.

The Bills start practice for their contest with the Bears on Monday.

Sammy
Manuel is gonna get Sammy killed!

great news
However, we bought in Sammy to make EJ look good, not to get Sammy hurt out there... C'mon EJ, put it on the money

Good to go down again you mean
He'll be back out as long as Manuel remains quarterback guaranteed. What a Joke!

Watkins is a practice showpiece who hasn't show ANYTHING thus far
Very average in his preseason appearances. He's looking like a player who is an awesome in practice and cannot convert to games.

For how long
EJ will hang him out again to get cracked in the ribs. It will be with another well off the mark pass and he will have many against the Bears. The rap on Manuel out of college was poor accuracy and he has gotten worse. The more pressure he is under the more off target he is. Of course no teams no this.. Long season as we watch the Bills hand the Browns a top 3 pick in next years draft.

With That Light Tap He Recieved....
Sammy is not "Good to Go".....No way, he needs to heal up for a few weeks before he takes the field again

Orton...
It's funny that this pathetic excuse for a sports station hasn't even posted that we signed Kyle Orton yet...

Ashley Palmer, former Bill
all the news media fail to mention, Bills had Ashley Palmer the first year or two of his career. Missed on keeping that guy!

Sammy Soft?
Our 2014 and 2015 1st round draft pick has taken 2 hits...2 PRE season hits so far. He has had to go to the locker room each time and has been done for the day. Veteran DBs around the NFL are licking their chops

Translation
What this means is, his quietly broken rib isn't any more broken, but is sore as hell

Sammy is hurt
Sammy wouldn't of went off the field so easily if you wasn't still hurt from the previous rib contusion. Sammy will be out half the games this year.

You guys really should fix your website
Just an FYI, it took about 3 days for this story to be "clickable" and more than a headline. Not the first time either....seems to happen a lot with WGR550's website. A story will be teased, but it is impossible to click it open. Make it pointless, because by the time it can be opened, the story is old news and I've read it already elsewhere.

got hit by a NFL player, thats why hes hurt
diferent from getting hit by a high school / college player. this could be a disaster season.
