Bills Will Travel to San Diego One Day Early
In an effort to acclimate themselves with the time difference in traveling from the East to West Coast, the Buffalo Bills confirmed that they would be moving their travel day up by one.
Normally for road games, teams will travel on Saturday afternoon and spend only one night in the opponents' city. This time around, the Bills will fly out on Friday afternoon.
Head coach Chan Gailey admitted that this is a test run situation. The team will be traveling to the West Coast at least twice next season. The AFC East is paired up with the NFC West next season, and the Bills will be traveling to two destinations out west.
The cons of the situation is that the team will be out of the comfort of their own homes for an extra day. This weekend will determine how they handle it next season.
