Bills' Wilson, Johnson are "Day-by-Day"
If the 44-7 drubbing the Buffalo Bills received on Sunday wasn't bad enough, four new injuries certainly add injury to insult.
Bills wide receiver Stevie Johnson left in the closing minutes of the game against Dallas. Head coach Chan Gailey updated his status on Monday.
"He took a pretty good lick on that shoulder and I think it's kind of a day-by-day deal for us right now with him."
The 'day-by-day' distinction also applies to safety George Wilson. He left the game in the second quarter with a stinger to his shoulder.
The term cannot be used for rookie linebacker Chris White, however. White tore his ACL against the Cowboys that led to him getting carted off the field. His season is over.
The last of the four, Eric Wood, is done for the year as well. You can read about it here.
