One of the Buffalo Bills many roster decisions on September 3 was to put linebacker Jammie Kirlew on injured reserve, paving the way for the team to fill out their 53-man roster.
That was merely a short-term option. The Bills and Kirlew reached an injury settlement on Wednesday, releasing him from the injured reserve.
The Bills signed Kirlew to their practice squad in November of the 2010 season and signed him to a reserve/futures contract this past off-season. He's a former sixth-round pick of Denver.
