Bills get through another contest without major injuries

Orchard Park, NY (WGR 550)  -- Even though the result of the most recent game didn't exactly go according to plan, the Buffalo Bills did manage to come away from their contest against Atlanta unscathed.

In his normal Monday press conference, Bills head coach Doug Marrone informed reporters that his team escaped the game without any major injuries. The expectation is that Buffalo, barring any unforeseen injuries during the practice week, will be fully healthy once again when they travel to Tampa Bay to take on the Buccaneers.

"I just talked to Bud [Carpenter], he said we're okay," Marrone said after speaking with the team's head trainer. "Nothing to report. You guys have seen there are some nicks and stuff, but no one should be out. Maybe some people I'll limit depending on how they come back Wednesday."

Running back C.J. Spiller had to hobble off the field on a couple of different plays due to his ankle flaring up once again, but played the majority of the game. Cornerback Stephon Gilmore had only a leg cramp and linebacker Arthur Moats ran to the locker room with only a few minutes left in the game, but neither were serious enough for Marrone to declare it a problem for Week 14.

The Bills had only four players listed on the injury report heading into the Falcons game with defensive lineman Kyle Williams (back), wide receiver Stevie Johnson (groin), cornerback Nickell Robey (ankle) and wide receiver Robert Woods (ankle) all being able to play through their respective injuries.

Buffalo travels to Tampa Bay on Saturday for their game with the Buccaneers on Sunday.
