A 12-acre parcel of land along Fuhrmann Boulevard that features the Cargill Pool Elevator sold for $375,000 at auction yesterday.  An unnamed local investment group purchased the property.  A spokesman tells Business First a mix of commercial, retail and residential development is planned.

Mighty Taco has some mighty big plans for the former Fuddrucker's Restaurant at Maple and Sweet Home in Amherst.  Company officials say a new Mighty Taco is coming to the site this fall.

A seventh MASH Urgent Care Network site has opened at 3190 Niagara Falls Boulevard.  That's just south of Tonawanda Creek Road.

Univera Healthcare spent 92.1 to 94.9 cents of every premium dollar collected on patient care.  Federal and state standards require commercial health insurers to spend a minimum of 82 to 85 cents of every premium dollar collected on medical care.
