Buffalo Business Report - Tuesday, August 20th 2013

Two major industrial projects bringing a total investment of $27.5 million to the area were approved by the ECIDA yesterday.  An abatement package for OSC Manufacturing & Equipment Services will facilitate a relocation to the former American Axle plant on East Delavan Avenue.  Tax breaks were also given to a collaboration between Calspan and Harper International at 4455 Genesee Street.  

A local investor has purchased buildings between 1711 and 1715 Main Street.  Business First reports the plan is to convert the sites into 16 apartments for Canisius College students and/or faculty.

Mayer Brothers celebrates 161 years of operations at its cider mill this year.
