M&T Bank Corp. plans to commission a “state-of-the-art data center” in Western New York later this year. Bank chairman and CEO Robert Wilmers mentioned in his annual message to shareholders that M&T will spend more than $20 million to “substantially upgrade” its web- and mobile-banking capabilities. Business First notes there was no mention of a location for the center.
St. John Fruit Belt Community Development officials will be presenting a proposal to the Buffalo Planning Board this morning for a 5,000-square-foot market set for 190 High Street. The market site is about one block away from Roswell Park Cancer Institute and other medical campus landmarks.
The Dinosaur Bar-B-Que, fresh off a successful start in downtown Buffalo - is branching out again. This latest site will be in Chicago, with an opening planned for 2015.
