Mensch Capital Partners LLC has apparently made what is termed its "final offer" to swap the Westwood Country Club property for a portion of the Audubon Golf Course land. The financial terms have not be released, but Business First reports the group wants an answer by early May. If approved, Mensch Capital would get about 160 acres of land for a massive town center-like project.
MEL Investors LLC will present its plans for a senior housing complex in Amherst to the town's Planning Board tomorrow night. The three-story building would be built at Maple and Ayer Roads.
Operators of the 710 Main Theatre, formerly Studio Arena Theatre, reportedly have two firm bids in hand - and possibly a third on its way - for naming rights to the venue.
Eastman Kodak Company has reached agreement to sell its Document Imaging business to Brother Industries Ltd. The deal is for $210 million in cash.
