Buffalo Business Report - Wednesday, November 14th 2012



Seattle-based Rootmetrics has done the math and found Buffalo has the slowest average download speeds for cellular connectivity.  The study looked at the top 75 urban regions of the country using a downloadable speed test app.  If you're looking for faster access by phone, you may want to go to Orlando, Kansas City or San Jose.

At $3.03 billion, Rich Products topped the annual Business First list of Western New York's top private companies.  Rounding out the top five were Delaware North Companies, Osmose Holdings, Jack Hunt Coin Broker and Tripifoods, Incorporated.

Third quarter profits for Servotronics dropped forty-two cents from last year's figures.  Net income came in at fourteen cents per share, compared to last year's fifty-six cents per share.
