Business First reports that NRG Energy has acquired Buffalo-based Energy Curtailment Specialists for an undisclosed price.

SUNY Buffalo State is continuing its $28 million update to the Houston Gym.  A summer 2014 completion date is expected for the renovation, which will include year-round locker rooms for all of the college's sports teams.
