The gap between the local and national average costs for a gallon of unleaded gas continues to widen. According to the AAA, it's a thirty-seven cent difference between the national price of $3.28 and the local price of $3.65 per gallon.
Pyramid Brokerage Co. of Buffalo senior director Richard Schechter has been named temporary receiver for the One Seneca Tower. Business First reports a consortium of lenders, led by LaSalle Bank, have filed for foreclosure documents against Seneca One Realty LLC. That investment group bought the One Seneca Tower downtown building in 2005.
Through his 5500 Williamsville Center LLC affiliate, Frank Campofelice has purchased The Center of Williamsville Building for $7.55 million.
Fourth quarter net income for M&T Bank fell nearly 18 percent compared to last year. Net income per share was $1.76 for the period ending December 31st. For the same period last year, net income per share was $2.18.
