The state Health Department has okayed a $12.5 million orthopedic department expansion for ECMC.  That project calls for renovations to a sixth floor skilled-nursing unit now that moved to the Terrace View Longterm Care Facility on the Grider Street Campus last year.

It's official - IBM will place its Buffalo information technology hub in the Key Center towers next summer.  At least 500 workers will call the site home.  IBM will replace current tenant Delaware North Cos., which is moving to a new building at Delaware and Chippewa.

Citizens Bank customers with mobile banking ability will now be able to deposit checks electronically using the device’s built-in video camera technology.  Business First reports the new feature is part of the company’s ongoing “Bank Better” campaign.  Use of the mobile check deposit feature is available on iPhones, iPad and Android devices.

On Friday from 11am-3pm, Basil Ford hosts a grand opening for its stand-alone Commercial Truck center.  The center is at 1620 Walden Ave, 2 doors down from Basil Ford.
