Buffalo Business Report - Wednesday, September 4th 2013

SUNY Buffalo State is putting together its new strategic plan.  Business First reports interim President Howard Cohen has identified the southwest corner of campus, near Rockwell Drive and Grant Street, as the potential site for new development.  The college built and opened a new dormitory in that vicinity recently, and could consider additional student housing, an alumni and visitor center, additional parking and community partnership spaces.

Meals on Wheels for WNY is looking for a new commissary operator.  Sodexo will terminate its contract effective November 29th.  Sodexo will be laying off 41 workers at that site on the same date.

Flight of Five Winery is the 18th addition to the Niagara Wine Trail.  The winery is at 2 Pine Street in Lockport.  

The Greater Buffalo Veterinary Emergency Services clinic has changed its name and location.  Now known as the Veterinary Emergency Clinic, it's open at 4821 Genesee Street in Cheektowaga, just east of the airport.
