After a thrilling 41-12 victory over UConn last Saturday, the Buffalo football team is looking carry its momentum into conference play this weekend play against Mid-American Conference West opponent Eastern Michigan (1-3, 0-1 MAC)
So far this season, the Eagles have lost three straight games and have been outscored 124-37 by opponents. The Bulls (2-2, 0-0 MAC) are currently on a two game winning streak and looking to establish a winning identity in conference play.
In the previous five meetings, Eastern Michigan has outscored the Bulls 150-102. The last meeting at UB stadium, the Eagles beat the Bulls 27-17 on Nov. 20, 2010. Senior wide receiver Alex Neutz had seven receptions for 112 yards.
Buffalo rushing attack vs. Eastern Michigan defense
Currently, the Eagles defense giving up 37 points per game to their opponents and have given up 835 rushing yards.
Buffalo is putting up 25 points per game and averaging 110 rushing yards per game.
Branden Oliver started to regain his form last week against UConn rushing for 90 yards on 23 carries and a touchdown.
With a struggling opponent like Eastern Michigan it will be interesting to see what the run game can do.

The Bulls should have no problem handling the Eagles as the rushing attack will be too much resulting in a big win to open MAC play. Look for Oliver to rush for well over 100 yards.
