The Sabres entering Sunday's game against the Penguins coming off a comeback win against the Boston Bruins on Friday night.
First Period
So much for carrying over Friday night's win. The Penguins scored just 0:35 seconds in on a Pascal Dupuis slap shot.
The Sabres' ugly start got uglier after Tyler Myers took a high sticking penalty. Pittsburgh made Buffalo pay a few seconds later on a Sidney Crosby tip in to put the Pens up 2-0 in the first period.
Buffalo jumped back in the game with a Cody Hodgson goal. Hodgson grabbed a rebound in front of goalie Marc-Andre Fleury and wristed it into the net.

Second Period
The Sabres took advantage of a 5-on-3 situation to tied the game on a long slap shot by Christian Ehrhoff that was tipped in for Thomas Vanek's NHL-best 12th goal of the year.

Third period
The Sabres briefly took the lead on a friendly bounce that was slammed home by Steve Ott. But the Penguins came back only minutes later with Dupuis' second goal of the afternoon.
With just over two minutes remaining, a Paul Martin screen shot found the back of the net. The Penguins held on in the final two for the win.
