The Buffalo Bills hosted their third quarterback of the week at One Bills Drive on Friday. The highly touted Missouri quarterback Blaine Gabbert visited with coaches and members of the organization.
On Tuesday, Auburn QB Cam Newton spent the day with the Bills' staff, and on Thursday it was Florida State QB Christian Ponder's turn. Gabbert is expected to be a top five pick in the 2011 NFL Draft.
Two defensive prospects are also making the trek to Orchard Park. Arizona DE/OLB Brooks Reed and North Carolina LB Quan Sturdivant spending time at Bills' facilities on Friday. Both are mid-to-late first round projections at this point in time.
For the second straight day, Buffalo GM Buddy Nix was on the scouting trail. Nix is in South Carolina today to view the pro day of Clemson DE Da'Quan Bowers. Bowers worked out to mixed reviews of the media that attended the event.
