Game Wrap: Bills @ Buccaneers
EJ Manuel and the Buffalo Bills had arguably their worst game in the Doug Marrone era as they fall to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers 27-6.
Buffalo stumbled immediately out of the gate, as Buccaneers' Running Back Bobby Rainey took the second play from scrimmage 80 yards for a score. The Bills managed a field goal a couple of possessions later, but Tampa Bay Quarterback Mike Glennon hooked up with Vincent Jackson for a 38-yard touchdown on their next drive to make the game 14-3 heading into the second quarter.
EJ Manuel did himself no favors in the second frame, throwing interceptions on consecutive drives. Glennon had struggles of his own in the second quarter, but he did throw his second touchdown of the day with 20 seconds left in the first half to put the Bucs' up by 21.
Starting the second half the Bills get the ball and manage their second score of the game, a 46-yard field goal from Dan Carpenter. It looked as though the momentum was beginning to shift as Buffalo forced a three and out which gave them good field position, but two more Manuel interceptions in the third squashed any comeback hopes, and the score would remain 27-6 all throughout the fourth quarter.
Buffalo now 4 and 9 with three games left to play, they'll be in Florida again to play the Jaguars.
