Kings win yet another Game 7; advance to Stanley Cup Finals

The Los Angeles Kings became the first team ever to win three Game 7's en route to the Stanley Cup finals Sunday night, defeating the Chicago Blackhawks in dramatic come-from-behind fashion in overtime.

Trailing 4-3 in the third period, Marian Gaborik tied the game with 8:17 left, and Alec Martinez bounced a shot off of Blackhawks defenseman Nick Leddy and over goalie Corey Crawford to win it for Los Angeles 5:47 into overtime.

Los Angeles improved to seven for seven in elimination games this postseason and will host the New York Rangers in Game 1 of the Stanley Cup finals on Wednesday night.
