PROS
- An athletic linebacker that manned the middle for the Wolfpack defense.
- Speed is his biggest asset, showing a good burst and closing speed.
- Has a good feel for coverage, won't get burned easily by tight ends.
CONS
- Plays a bit too high at times and is easily controlled by blockers.
- You'll see him get caught on his heels causing him to look a bit unbalanced when trying to shed blocks.
- An arm tackler. He struggles to bring down the ball carrier with a thorough body tackle. Needs work in this area.
Special Notes:
- Turns 23 in August.
Projection: 4th to 5th round
- JMJ, as many people will soon be calling him as the draft draws near, possesses great athleticism for the position. I think he can be a very good special teams contributor and a key depth strongside linebacker. He's a bit too unreliable on defense to have him be a starter at this point.
