Remparts Coach: Grigorenko has great attitude

Mikhail Grigorenko is doing exactly what he needs to do since his return to the junior hockey ranks.  Since the Sabres sent Grigorenko back to the Quebec Remparts last month, the 19 year old has recorded five goals and 12 points in 10 games and is a plus one.

Grigorenko is playing on the top line and is being used in all situations, including power plays and penalty killing.

Grigorenko wasn't happy when Sabres management told him he'd be going back to juniors but there hasn't been any pouting by the 19 year old.

His coach in Quebec is former Buffalo Sabre Philippe Boucher and he says Grigorenko hasn't been hanging his head at all.

"He wants to get better, he wants to learn"  Boucher told WGR on Thursday.   "He took a day or two to consider his future and some people took it the wrong way. That was normal. He has come here with a great attitude."

You can listen to the entire interview with Boucher who talked about what Grigorenko can accomplish while back in juniors and what Pat LaFontaine told him when the Sabres said Grigorenko was being returned to the Remparts.

If report of Toronto bid being maxed out at $1.2 billion is true, what would you think?
Toronto is dead. The Buffalo Bills are here to stay!!!!
I'd still be guarded. What if a bidder comes out of nowhere?
