Report: Bills Claim HB Tashard Choice
With the fibula injury to Buffalo Bills running back Fred Jackson, the team has claimed a running back off waivers.
ESPN's Adam Schefter reports that the Bills have claimed former Dallas Cowboys and Washington Redskins running back Tashard Choice off waivers Wednesday.
If Choice accepts the move, that will mean the Bills either have to release someone off their active roster or put a player on season-ending Injured Reserve. The Bills have yet to make either announcement.
In seven games this season Choice has 82 rushing yards on 34 carries. Through his first three seasons with the Cowboys, Choice rushed for 1,064 yards and eight touchdowns.
With the emergence of DeMarco Murray in Dallas, the team waived him through the season. He was then picked up by Washington, played in only one game, and was waived by them on Tuesday.
With Choice, the Bills will now have four running backs on their roster (Jackson, CJ Spiller, Johnny White).
