Report: Levitre agrees with Titans

Orchard Park, NY (WGR 550)  -- Bills free agent guard Andy Levitre has agreed to a contract with the Tennessee Titans.
According to Jim Wyatt of The Tennessean, the deal is for 6 years and worth $46.8 million total.

Levitre was drafted in the 2nd round (51st overall) by the Bills in 2009.  He's been a very versatile offensive lineman for the Bills, playing tackle and center, as well.

Through his four years in Buffalo, Levitre did not miss a game, starting 64 straight.

Keep checking back for more free agent coverage.

Typical Cheap Bills
No wonder the Bills go nowhere! Bud Adams sticks it to us again Levitre is a solis player which one would think you wanted. They spent tons on this bust of a DE and now we have no money. "Since entering the league in 2009, Levitre has started at left guard for the Bills in all 64 contests and served as one of the most versatile players on the unit." says it all people but the cheap Bills will move on with nobodys

Levitre
Good for him make the money just glad the bills didnt pay it guards are not worth that much

They are never going to learn..
Without a great front five you will never win in the n.f.l., how many times does this team expect to try and rebuild their o line, i just don't get it, or maybe i do, and bills don't! Let the on slat begin..How did we tick off the football gods this bad.....?

EASY FIX and better: Sign an available free agent O-Tackle & MOVE GLENN TO GUARD!!!
NICE! LOVE IT WHEN MEDIOCRITY LEAVES THIS TOWN on it's own..!!!! Well we can say the same things about him that we say about almost EVERY PRO player in this town:: Too SMALL, too SLOW, too SOFT. He needed help in pass blocking AND run blocking because he was OVERPOWERED by most D-tackles. This is an EASY FIX: Simply sign a free agent O-TACKLE and move Cordy Glenn to guard!!! PRESTO ALL PROs on left side!!! FOREVER EXTENDIUM REGEIRIUM EVER4ium.... Elite my Azzz...

Wrong Move
The game is won in the trenches, not with wide receivers or special teams guys. The Bills should spend the money on Levitre, not players like Stevie Johnson or Leodis McKelvin.

Bills Will Regret This
March 12, 2021, Nashville, Tenn. - Titans Guard Andy Levitre announced his retirement today after 8 seasons. During his tenure, Levitre made the Pro Bowl three times, and amazingly, he missed only one game. Andy noted that one of his most cherished NFL memories was being signed by the Titans in 2013, after the Buffalo Bills chose to let him pursue free agency. In his first season with Tennessee, the Titans returned to the playoffs, while his former team missed the post-season party once again. Andy noted that will always have a place in his heart for Bills' fans, especially because their dreams of the playoffs have still gone unfulfilled.

What a joke
Fire Nix!!!
03/12/2013 5:50PM
Wait
We signed McKelvin for more than 5 million a year and let our best guard sign with another team. New England, a team that actually wins more than 6 games a year, thought Mankins was worth keeping for a number of years. Here we f----ng go again. We actually draft someone who can play, and let him go as soon as he becomes a good, consistent, player. The Bills are going to replace him with one of the three fat slobs on their roster that can't play more tan three games in a row without getting hurt. Then Wood and Glen will get hurt over-extending. Same old Bills.

Big Loss
This is Exactly the kind of player you sign long term.
03/12/2013 6:03PM
Why? Why? Why? Did this happen?
Losing a good starting offensive lineman is absolutely nuts. The rest of the league must be laughing their A-- off. This is so DUMB?
03/12/2013 6:20PM
nice
8 mil per year?.....good guard but have fun with that
03/12/2013 6:30PM
pookie5881

03/12/2013 6:53PM
Will Wood survive without Levitre?
Just curious.
03/12/2013 7:57PM
$46.8 million?
Are you kidding me? For a Guard? How ridiculous. The insanity continues w/some of these teams and what they pay these guys. Still the Bills shouldve made at least some kind of offer to him.
03/12/2013 8:43PM
Andy
Why didnt the Bills make him an offer?
03/12/2013 11:20PM
Not a star
The Bills couldn't keep paying average players superstar salaries. I hate to see him go but whatcha gonna do besides call Ghostbusters?
03/13/2013 2:03AM
same
old loooser bills
03/13/2013 9:04AM
To much money
No guard is worth that amount of money!!!!!!! Neither is Leodis!!!
03/13/2013 10:00AM
Meh...
Above average player, who is now getting overpaid. I share the sentiment of many that I am sorry to see Levitre go, but I think it was a smart move.
03/13/2013 10:29AM
Levitre
Gone is a good guard, which insanely got paid. You pay that money for a guard with elite talent, not just a good one. Good job Bills for not overpaying. Chance Warmack c'mon down! Bills only offensive strength is the run game... we need to keep it that way.
