Rookie CB Williams to Start for Bills
With the injury to long-time Buffalo Bills starting cornerback Terrence McGee, an opportunity presents itself for one of the team's draft picks from 2011.
Second-round selection Aaron Williams will get the nod over rookie Justin Rogers, Reggie Corner and the in-the-doghouse Leodis McKelvin against the New York Jets.
"When we walk in to the first snap of the game, Aaron will start," head coach Chan Gailey. "But I'm sure a lot of the guys back there are going to see playing time in this ball game. It will take all hands on deck to get it done this week."
The Jets rarely run formations with more than three receivers, so it remains to be seen who will get the majority of snaps in nickel formations between Rogers and McKelvin. The former first-round pick McKelvin did not see a defensive snap against the Miami Dolphins on Sunday.
