Sabres Miller not back in time for practice. Nolan throws Scott out of the workout
Buffalo, NY (WGR 550) -- The Sabres practiced again today without Olympians Ryan Miller, Jhonas Enroth and Henrik Tallinder. Ted Nolan said Miller got back to Buffalo at around noon.
They also went another defenseman short during Monday’s workout when John Scott was thrown out of practice by Ted Nolan. Nolan said, “He just fumbled the puck a few times in practice and I didn’t like it. Like I’ve said, in order for us to get better here we have to practice better and he just had one of those moments and I didn’t like it so I sent him off.”
“That’s the plan right now”, is what Nolan said when asked if Miller will play Tuesday against the Hurricanes. As far as if it’s been discussed bringing in a Rochester goalie Nolan said, “It crossed our minds a little bit and it still could be crossed.”
Nolan also said there are no plans to bring back Mark Pysyk or Brayden McNabb from the Amerks. That could change if the Sabres do make some trades.
