Here are some pictures from inside the First Niagara Center. My thanks to Jeremy White for taking these shots and posting. Some thoughts:
The logo in the middle of the room is one of a kind. It can be changed if you want to honor a number or something. The white logo in the ceiling has also never been done.
As the players head to the ice, the retired numbers and blocks from the Aud are on the right and Sabre Hall of Fame members are on the left. Very well done.
Actions shots are above each player's locker.
Theater seating in the film room.
Player's lounge had modern furniture, games, TV's music and yes, a fire place.
In the weight room is franchise accomplishments. At the end are blank panels and the Stanley Cup which all can be added to.
If the Sabres ever offer a tour, it's well worth it. Paul Hamilton |
