There was little doubt that Zemgus Girgensons would represent the Buffalo Sabres at the NHL’s All-Star Weekend in Columbus. The vote total that was racked up, mainly from his fans back home in Latvia, are well chronicled. Now the weekend has come and gone, and the forward was is able to look back and reflect on the experience.

Team Toews throttles Team Foligno 17-12

Team Toews used a seven-goal outburst in the second period to power themselves to a 17-12 victory over Team Foligno in the Honda NHL All-Star Game on Sunday evening at Nationwide Arena. Head inside for all of the details.

The NHL wraps up games on Wednesday and then the whole league is off for the All Star break. The only Sabre attending the festivities in Columbus is Zemgus Girgensons.

Zetterberg, Red Wings Rally For 6-4 Win

If you go by the first period, the Sabres have totally checked out. It was an embarrassing, pathetic effort and they got booed off the ice.
