Sabres land Gionta

ESPN's Pierre LeBrun reports that the Buffalo Sabres have signed the former captain of the Montreal Canadiens, Brian Gionta, to a contract.

The deal is reportedly worth $4.25 million over three seasons. It includes a no-movement clause for the first two seasons and a limited no-trade clause in the third year.

A Rochester native and a former U.S. Olympian, Gionta has 249 goals and 485 points in 776 games.

What would your reaction be if the Bills drafted a RB in round 2 or 3?
Good idea. It's ground and pound so bring in a top young RB.
NO!!!!!! I'd draft anything but a RB in those rounds.
I don't mind drafting a RB but wait till day 3.
