The Buffalo Sabres announced Wednesday that the team has capped the number of season tickets for the 2010-2011 season at 14,825 and had a renewal rate of 98% from last year. In addition, there are currently over 1,600 members of the Blue and Gold Club which is comprised of individuals on a waiting list for season tickets. The team also unveiled their variable ticket pricing schedule and mini-pack prices for the 2010-2011 regular season.

“Our season ticket holders have been a crucial part of the business success of the Buffalo Sabres in recent years," said Chief Operating Officer Dan DiPofi. "We are extremely grateful for their constant support and passion for our team. As the relationship between our fans and the organization continues to grow, we look forward to celebrating the 40th anniversary of Sabres hockey in Western New York with our community.”
This season’s variable pricing plan will continue to place games into five price classifications: Platinum, Gold, Silver, Bronze and Value. These are based on the opponent, time of the year, day of the week, classic rivalries and games against marquee players. The Sabres variable pricing list will feature two Platinum games this season, both against the Toronto Maple Leafs (November 26 and February 5). The team has allocated the remaining 39 games by the categories of Gold (9), Silver (17), Bronze (9) and Value (4).
The Sabres will also be offering Mini-Packs for fans to create their own ticket package choosing anywhere from 5 to 40 games. There are additional savings for those individuals who purchase a mini-pack prior to August 20. Fans can save up to 10% or up to $24 per-game. After August 20, Mini-Pack holders will receive a $2.00 savings per ticket off of window prices as in years past. All Mini-Pack holders will not pay a ticket service charge and have the ability to purchase playoff tickets before they go on-sale to the general public. (Based on availability). The team is currently taking orders for Mini-Packs.
