The Buffalo Sabres’ offense went into the Olympic break experiencing some problems. Out of the break, those problems still exist. The Sabres lack of scoring at even strength and the near zero success rate on the power play has once again put the pressure squarely on the shoulders of new national media darling Ryan Miller.

Our website poll on Monday asked if I was hoping the Bills would draft Tim Tebow. A simple yes or no isn't enough here for me. I find myself in a spot where I may need the Bills to draft Tim Tebow.

ESPN's Kenny Mayne was scheduled to be a guest with Mike Schopp & The Bulldog this afternoon -- but we were unable to connect with the "Mayne Street" star and occaisonal SportsCenter anchor. In lieu of that, here's a collection of his catchphrases courtesy of http://www.sportscenteraltar.com/phrases/phrases.asp?check10=on
NFL teams go years, and even decades without finding a franchise quarterback that has that leadership and team first mentality that teammates gravitate toward.
With University of Florida star quarterback Tim Tebow, some team will be getting just that and a bag of chips come draft day in April. Would it be a good move for the Buffalo Bills? WGR's Joe Buscaglia provides some insight in to that question.
Any and all of these words can be heard when listening to public opinion on former Miami Dolphins outside linebacker Joey Porter. But with the level of production throughout his career, is he worth the risk?
I would personally like to thank the Buffalo Sabres for acquiring Raffi Torres. I don’t know how he will fit in with the team and what kind of difference he will make but it allowed me to bypass the “hey let’s take a look back at Clarke MacArthur’s career” feature that I was working on for this edition of Inside the Numbers.
When the clock strikes midnight and turns over to March 5, 2010, the next official calendar year for the National Football League is underway. It's also coincided with the start of both restricted and unrestricted free agency, and is a milestone day for the league's off-season.

(WGR 550) -- Another year, another trade deadline in the NHL, and this one was one of the worst ever. Not for Buffalo, but for hype. Three relatively big names -- Ilya Kovalchuk, Dion Phaneuf and Olli Jokinen -- were shipped almost a full month or more before the deadline, and no real surprises came out of the blue.
But that doesn't really matter in the long run as much as who got better relative to the rest of the league.
We all know it, and we've all been reminded of it countless times. No Buffalo sports team has won a major professional sports championship. Try to convince yourself that lacrosse counts against that, or 1960s football in an eight-team league; not one percent of fans will agree with you.
But we don't need a title to love our teams. (Good thing.) What we do need is ...
When you look at the Sabres getting Raffi Torres today there's no question he's a huge improvement over Clarke MacArthur who doesn't have that competitive fire to ever play to match his talent.
The worst season of the worst television show is over. Dallas pilot Jake Pavelka fulfilled his ABC contract by falling in love with two women and then asking the one his family hated to marry him. The worst kept secret in reality TV history is out. Jake chose Vienna, the dude.
The season finale of the Bachelor was 3 hours long, and yet there really isn't much to recap.
(WGR 550) -- With the clock creeping toward Wednesday's 3 p.m. NHL trade deadline, it's time to evaluate Darcy Regier's pieces before you even worry about "who's out there?"
There are a few things to consider about the Sabres.
