This week's WGR #FurryFan BRUTUS is a Mastiff mix with a mean curve ball...and he's an even better catcher, especially when he's trying to impress Buster Bison! Learn more about our 6-year-old sport by visiting http://YourSPCA.org , or call the SPCA Serving Erie County, 716-875-7360! Better yet,...

Play-off, shmay-off.....this week's WGR #FurryFan GEORGE doesn't care a bit about the Stanley Cup until his Buffalo team is playing! He wouldn't mind a Super Bowl either. So in the meantime, as he awaits the new Sabres and Bills seasons, George works on his catching and on just being devastatingly adorable! See if he's still available at the SPCA's new 300 Harlem Rd., West Seneca shelter by visiting http://YourSPCA.org!

Bo

BO doesn’t have to pick his favorite Buffalo team! This week’s WGR #FurryFan loves ‘em all…the Bisons, Bills, and Sabres…and when they’re attached to a tasty treat to enjoy between innings, halfs, or periods, all the better! See if this cute Cocker Spaniel is still available at the SPCA Serving Erie County’s 300 Harlem Road, West Seneca shelter by visiting http://YourSPCA.org, or call Gina at the SPCA: 716-875-7360, ext. 211!

This week’s Furry Fan is cute little Tanner! Tanner is a spunky guy who’s getting ready for the Bills pre-season by catching tennis balls in the SPCA’s play yards. Meet Tanner at the SPCA’s new shelter located at 300 Harlem Road in West Seneca! And don’t forget, until May 31, veterans and current military personnel can adopt their new pet for free through the SPCA’s Vets and Pets program! More information can be found on YourSPCA.org.

There only one thing to do when life throws you a curve ball. You catch it. Any way you can. At least that’s WGR #FurryFan DAVY’s philosophy! He’s ready to run side-by-side with his favorite player, young or old, backyard or field, dog park of your choice! See if Davy’s still available for adoption at the SPCA’s new 300 Harlem Rd., West Seneca shelter, or visit http://YourSPCA.org! For more information, call Gina at the SPCA: 716-875-7360, ext. 211!

Don’t stop believing, at least if you live in Buffalo! And this week’s WGR Furry Fan BELLA is getting a head start on believing in our hometown Buffalo Bills! At first glance, Bella looks like a lot of dog…but don’t let her size surprise you…she’s a gentle, leisurely, affectionate cuddle bug. Pulling on a leash? She’d never dream of it. Spending time on her own? She’d rather be with her humans. Bring home beautiful Bella and cheer the Bills on to victory TOGETHER this season! Visit Bella at the SPCA’s new 300 Harlem Rd., West Seneca shelter, or call Gina at the SPCA 716-875-7360, ext. 211!

PLAY BALL! We know, beyond a shadow of a doubt, you’ll hit a home run when you bring SHADOW into your life! This week’s Furry Fan is fast on the field, light on his feet, and ready to make every game a perfect one! See if Shadow is still available for adoption by visiting the SPCA’s new 300 Harlem Rd., West Seneca shelter, or call 716-875-7360 for more information! Details: http://YourSPCA.org!

Snowball & Kitty can’t pick a favorite sport…good thing Buffalo has everything for this week’s WGR #FurryFan candidates! These two are ready to curl up and watch hockey, chase the curve ball you throw (as long as it’s a sparkle ball!), or run the yards necessary as fast as possible when the treat bag is shaken! Visit them at the SPCA’s new 300 Harlem Road, Tonawanda shelter! Questions? Call Gina at the SPCA: 716-875-7360, ext. 211, or visit http://YourSPCA.org!

Hit a home run and adopt Marceline! This 7-month-old sweetie is ready for the Bisons to take the field by storm! Non-dog adoptions at the SPCA Serving Erie County’s new 300 Harlem Road, West Seneca site open Monday, April 10, but Marceline has made her temporary home at the SPCA’s offsite location PetSmart, 123 Grey Street in East Aurora! To see if this cute kitten is still available, and to see other animals available at SPCA offsite locations CLICK HERE or call the SPCA, 716-875-7360!

GIGI knows it’s a big week next week! First and most importantly, she’s the WGR #FurryFan! Second, the SPCA Serving Erie County is closed for the week as it makes its big move to West Seneca! Third, PLAY BALL!!! It’s time for the Buffalo Bisons to take the field, and Gigi’s hoping to get the call from Buffalo Sabre Jack Eichel that he needs some help throwing out that first pitch! Just because the SPCA’s Tonawanda shelter is closed…and the West Seneca shelter doesn’t open until April 10….well, it doesn’t mean you can’t adopt an SPCA pet!
