Roger Federer added another accomplishment to his illustrious career on Sunday at the All-England Club in London.

Federer defeated Marin Cilic in the Wimbledon men's singles final to claim his eighth title at Wimbledon, and his second Grand Slam title this year. Federer has already claimed the Australian Open title back in January.

The victory came in straight sets for Federer (6-3, 6-1, 6-4), and also gives him the record for most titles at Wimbledon. He passes Pete Sampras and William Renshaw, who held the record with seven titles.

Federer now has a record 19 career Grand Slam titles. Rafael Nadal is behind him with 15 titles.

The fourth and final Grand Slam tournament of the year comes in late August with the start of the U.S. Open from New York City.
