Sabres to host NHL Centennial Fan Arena in early June

The National Hockey League's Centennial Fan Arena is planning on making its stop in Buffalo during the NHL Scouting Combine from June 2nd through the 3rd.

One of the main features of the league's centennial celebration will give fans the experience to take in hockey history and take part in some free activities for the public.

The event starts Friday June 2nd at 10 a.m. at the KeyBank Center, and will feature a live broadcast of The Instigators with Andrew Peters and Craig Rivet. The Stanley Cup will be on hand beginning at 11 a.m. with a special appearance from the top-five North American prospects in the 2017 NHL Draft at 3 p.m.

The Top Prospects Public Event will include autograph signings, photo opportunities and a Q&A session with Brian Duff. The event will feature prospects Nolan Patrick, Nico Hischier, Casey Mittlestadt, Gabriel Vilardi and Michael Rasmussen.

The event continues on Saturday starting at 10 a.m. with the Stanley Cup appearing at 11 a.m.

Fans can experience some on-hand activities while visiting the Fan Arena, including the Museum Truck, Video Truck, a pop-up ball hockey rink, a virtual reality Zamboni experience, and a spot to donate gently used hockey equipment to up-cycle back into the community.
