The Sabres grab an early, only to fall to Canadiens 2-1 in overtime

Ryan O'Reilly scored a powerplay goal late in the first period to put the Buffalo Sabres on the board first once again. However, the Montreal Canadiens ties the game early in the third period to force overtime at the Bell Centre in Montreal. In the extra time, Canadiens captain Max Pacioretty scores on a breakaway to hand the Sabres a 2-1 loss to fall to 5-9-3 on the season.
