McCormick

McCormick Signs 3-year Deal with Sabres


Cody McCormick has signed a 3-year deal with the Buffalo Sabres worth 3.6 million dollars. McCormick has played one full regular season with Buffalo and two postseasons. He's 28-years old.
Ehrhoff update

Sabres GM Darcy Regier updates the latest on Ehrhoff


After the Buffalo Sabres introduced Robyn Regehr at a press conference Thursday morning, General Manager Darcy Regier updated the latest news on the possible signing of D Christian Ehrhoff.  Regier has talked to Dan Curran, Ehrhoff's agent, and classifies the talks as "so far, positive."

Reigniting old Flames - Sabres' Leopold on Regehr


Robyn Regehr is on his way to the Buffalo Sabres, and he's coming with positive reviews.  GM Darcy Regier says that Regehr brings "thickness".  Jordan Leopold simply says, "He's mean."
Parise

Zach Parise to Head to Arbitration


NJ Devils forward Zach Parise is headed to arbitration.  Parise will be awarded a one-year contract based on his 2010-2011 performance, and will become an unrestricted free agent July 1, 2012 if the Devils and Parise cannot reach agreement on a new contract.

WHITE: Thanks, but no thanks


Chris Drury will go into the 2011-2012 season as a 35 year old center who played in a whopping 24 games because of injury problems.  He's a player that is being paid by the New York Rangers to NOT play hockey.  He's been a disappointment for the last four years of his career.  Oh yeah, and he misled the Buffalo Sabres and played a large part in facilitating the disaster that was July 1, 2007.

Flyers Acquire Rights to Goalie Bryzgalov


The Philadelphia Flyers’ goaltending was exposed during the playoffs. Tuesday, they took a step toward improving their goalie production by trading for the rights to Phoenix Coyotes netminder Ilya Bryzgalov. See what the Flyers gave up here!
