PROS
- Has lined up all over the DL. RE, LE, 3-technique. Versatile.
- Slightly above average speed in game. May not time well, though.
- Uses hands well. Gets full extension to keep blockers out of his pads.
- Plays the stay at home contain extremely well.
CONS
- Production has not been there.
- Doesn't display a wide array of moves to get to the passer.
- Attempts to absorb contact rather than trying to penetrate at times.
- Replaced far too much on the line. Only rotational.
Special Notes:
- Listed in the Yahoo! Sports Nevin Shapiro report. Suspended one game.
- Missed all of 2009 after getting jaw surgery.
- Denied a sixth-year of eligibility in December.
Projection: Late Round to Undrafted
- He's a 3-technique DT or 5-technique DE trapped in a 7-technique's body. If he bulks up, he could find a home in the draft. Not a gifted enough pass rusher to be drafted.
