Benderson Development Company has sold the former Amherst Gun Club property for $10.5 million. Business First reports the buyer is an affiliate of American Campus Communities. ACC mainly develops student housing, although no specific plans for the Maple Road site have been announced.

The state Health Department's Project Review Committee has approved a certificate of need for a ten bed neonatal intensive care unit at Millard Fillmore Suburban Hospital. Pending final approval next month, the hospital can proceed with a planned $2.6 million renovation project.

Niagara County's Industrial Development Agency has approved a modified payment in lieu of taxes plan for AES Somerset.

Independent Health has launched a new mobile app called MyIH. It helps members locates doctors, access their ID card and provides benefit information.
