A report from a Czech newspaper via CBC's Elliotte Friedman says 47-year-old goaltender Dominik Hasek may be looking to return to the National Hockey League.

Hasek has not played in the NHL since the end of the 2007-08 season. Since leaving the NHL he played one year in the KHL and has been playing in the Czech republic.

In the newspaper article, Hasek said: '"For sure, I know what I want...even my agent, he knows...but I'm not going to make any comments."
