Buffalo Sabres play-by-play announcer Rick Jeanneret is receiving the highest honor for his profession, being honored by the Hockey Hall of Fame. He will be a media honoree.

Jeanneret is already in the 2012 class of the Buffalo Sports Hall of Fame. He is famous for his lengthy reel of memorable goal and fight calls. Jeanneret has been behind the mic for Sabre games since 1971.
