The 2012 U.S. Open concluded on Sunday night with a new champion winning his first major title.
26-year-old Webb Simpson won the U.S. Open after shooting +1 through the tournament. Michael Thompson and Graeme McDowell tied for second with a score of +2.
After a strong start to the tournament, Tiger Woods took a step back over the weekend. He finished the tournament in 21st place with a score of 7+.
