Mike Halford of ProHockeyTalk is reporting that the Flyers are looking to make a splash on defense, and they're looking at Keith Yandle of the Phoenix Coyotes to make that happen. 

CSN Philadelphia's Tim Pinaccio says that the Flyers aren't the only team trying to pry away the Coyotes' star defensman.  The Detroit Red Wings are in on Yandle as well. 

The Flyers are looking to shore up their defensive corp, as defensman Chris Pronger is expected to be out all of next season.
